Honduras Santa Ana Juan Carlos Honey (200g)
Tasting Notes: Cherries and hazelnut, sweet
Our dear patrons would know by now that our roaster has a soft spot for Honduran coffee, for its often high cost-performance ratio. The coffee we have this time is a honey-processed coffee from Finca Santa Ana. The most interesting thing about it is probably how dark the chaffe is (a brownish red colour) on the green coffee and how fruitily aromatic it already is right out of the bag (before roasting!)
The resulting coffee is sweet and tastes of canned cherries and pecan, a great afternoon treat for the winter months.
