This sweet and vibrant coffee is produced by Gelgelu Adame, a member of the Worka Cooperative. The Worka Cooperative was established in 2005 and joined the Yirgacheffe Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (YCFCU) the same year. There are 305 member farmers who cultivate coffee on 762 hectares in Worka, Gedeb in the Gedeo Zone. Worka is known, among other accomplishments, for producing a remarkable natural processed coffee that is dried in the sun on raised beds before the fruit is removed from the seeds, producing a highly unusual aromatic and flavour profile.
