This fruity and rich natural (dry) process Grade 1 coffee is from the Oromia regino in the southern zone of Borena in Ethiopia. Indigenous heirloom cultivars are grown on small, family-owned farms in the Gelana and Abaya districts at high altitudes, between 1700 and 1900 meters. Ripe red cherries are fastidiously picked and sorted and immediately placed on raised beds which have been carefully constructed to ensure proper air circulation and temperature control for an optimal drying process. After they have dried to a moisture level of about 11.5% they are transported to capital Addis Ababa for milling, bagging and export.

This coffee is sweet, fruity, but yet very clean.
