Ethiopia Sidama G1 Washed Twakok Lot 22/02
Varietal: Ethiopian Heirloom
Altitude: 2200 masl
Tasting Notes: Peach, kumquat, lemon tea
Twakok is back for a second year. And this year, we have both the Washed and the Natural processes for you to choose from (why not both right?).
Twakok was actually Tafac Kok in the Ethiopian native language, with Tafac meaning sweet and Kok meaning peaches. With a name like this, it is not very difficult to guess the flavour profile of this coffee. The first 2 incarnations of the Twakok were all naturally processed and the washed version was newer to the scene. Still true to its namesake, you will find peach, kumquat, and lemon tea in the cup.
