The Rio Jorco micro mill and farm are located in Vuelta de Jorco in Tarrazu. Currently it is the third generation running the mill and farm and they pride themselves for their quality shade grown coffee. The micro mill has continuously provided a steady livelihood for the families in the immediate area. Much of their growing practice focuses on ecologically friendly farming, including fertilizing their plants with leftover coffee pulp. High elevation and celebration of indigenous flora make this cup of coffee an authentic, revitalizing treat. Rio Jorco produces more than 90 micro lots from their farm and work with small partner producers to produce high quality estate coffee each year.
