By now coffee from Kochere, Ethiopia has pretty much become a household name. Kochere is an area within the Gedeo zone, just south of Yirgacheffe and is home to some of the highest grown coffee in the world, at altitude between 1900 to 2100 m.a.s.l.
Wet Yirgacheffe coffees like this one typically expresses great aromatic complexity and intensity with a particular emphasis on citrus and floral notes, producing a sparkly clean, crisp and light-bodied cup. This signature profile represents well the world famous wet-processed Yirgacheffe coffee. This batch however embodies a distinct aroma of ginger flower, very elegant.
